The work week is Saturday to Wednesday, although some businesses follow the western week of Monday to Friday.  Business hours vary from straight hours (8 am to 5 pm) to split hours (8 am to 1 pm and 4 pm to 8 pm).  Shopping centers are typically open until 10 pm.
