Our Client, a government organisation is seeking an Infrastructure Coordinator to work closely with other Authorities, local councils and the private sector to ensure that the infrastructure development programs are properly aligned with the relevant growth plans and land release program. The person they require will need to have:
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field. Extensive knowledge and understanding of major infrastructure delivery processes, project planning and control frameworks, and capital works planning and procurement processes.
A deep understanding of and experience in the development and operation of contribution systems and levies. A sound understanding of the land development process.
A sound understanding of public sector management, planning for urban development, and the roles of local government authorities
Highly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
Highly developed negotiation and conflict resolution skills as well as the ability to work independently. Experience operating at a senior level and in contributing to policy development, program implementation, performance monitoring and reporting to senior management. Extensive practical experience in business management, revenue collection, systems development and reporting and accounting procedures.
