Reporting to the Director this new position will be based in the UAE, though you will be required to cover various sites as well. Core hours of work will be 8.00am - 4.30pm, though the job will involve covering all shifts and weekends.This position is a proactive role requiring an individual who is an excellent communicator, well organised, creative, self motivated, uses their initiative and able to work with minimal supervision with a flexible approach to work. Key Responsibilities: Identify the process norm, measure against it and use the expected efficiency and norm to develop the process cost. Identify areas for potential improvement and measure existing process, assist relevant factory personnel to implement changes leaving in place a system to measure the process ongoing and to quantify and value the improvement. Identify areas of process waste, values and analyse the wastage figures to see if it can be reduced or eliminated. The successful applicant must be numerate, computer literate and have at least 1 years experience of working in a factory environment. In addition it would be an advantage to be experienced in operating and using method study and work study principles. You must have a Industrial Engineering qualification or qualified or in the process of completing your studies.
