Finance Manager Location Dubai
Exciting opportunity with this listed media organisation. We are seeking a Finance Manager who has the ambition and drive to gradually manage and take responsibility for the entire finance function within the radio section of the business.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer; you will be an exceptional communicator with broad accounting experience. Your relevant accounting qualifications or intention to complete your CPA/CA studies will be highly regarded.

We are looking for a Senior bookkeeper with previous experience and knowledge of all areas of bookkeeping: sales ledger, posting and reconciliating bank and various ledgers monthly and resolving discrepancies. Providing management account monthly, including income statement and Balance sheet. Quarterly return, and day to day running of accounts on Sage Instant accounts. You should be capable to work on your own, and submit the accounts to the management in the required form.
Establish and maintain reporting and accounting procedures for the various hold and operating companies iand elsewhere. Direct and supervise the group’s accounting principles, practices and procedures for the maintenance of its fiscal records and the preparation of its financial reports both internal and external. Direct general and property accounting, cost accounting, and budgetary control. Appraise operating results in terms of costs, budgets, operating policies, trends and increased profit opportunities through extensive management reporting. Manage the audit process as well as all interface with the various regulatory agencies. Perform executive level duties involving a complex financial and managerial accounting and budgeting system.
An internationally recognised accounting designation (e.g. CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent) with at least five years demonstrable experience in a controller role in the financial industry
The accounting manager is responsible for working with the controller to develop, implement, and sustain efficient and transparent accounting procedures and processes to ensure compliance with GAAP, government contracts and private grants, and Teach policies. The accounting manager pro-actively takes the lead in adopting best business practices to ensure timely monthly closings, accurate financial statements, alignment of the accounting function with development operations, and comprehensive annual grants/contracts audit preparation. The accounting manager works closely with the planning and analysis function to ensure data integrity at the consolidated and regional site levels. Bachelors degree in accounting, business or finance; degree in accounting preferred

Under the direction of assist in the completion of the day to day operations for the Corporate Accounting Department and facilitate communication between vendors and the company. Assist in creating a positive team environment and be a responsible, dependable employee. This position requires the highest level of professionalism, confidentiality and integrity.
The responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk include, but are not limited to, the following:
Manage accounts payable: enter bills, cut checks, maintain files, & communicate with vendors
Prepare and enter invoices and deposits via Quick Books Pro.
Answer phones, greet visitors, & help manage the administrative office in the Administrative Assistant’s absence
Assist the Fiscal Manager with the annual audit, accounts receivable, & various projects
Financial, statistical and fiscal record-keeping principles
Modern office practices, procedures and equipment.
Reporting to the CFO, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s general accounting processes including but not limited to: Managing cash, investments, fixed assets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, revenue recognition, consolidation of foreign entities, and stock administration
Perform monthly general ledger closing. Collaborate with the company’s foreign entities to review monthly financial reporting. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting; Work with company’s external auditors. Assist in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and controls. Assist the CFO in the preparation of annual budget, BOD meeting presentations and special projects
Qualifications: Minimum of BA or BS in accounting or finance. At least 5 years of combined public accounting and industry experience

Major customers of these activities include internal customers – senior finance management at Corporate and at business units– and external customers – investors, the government, and the investment community through SEC filings.
Required Qualifications: degree in business or accounting. or more years of public accounting experience. Knowledge of and at least four years experience in the application of generally accepted accounting principles is required.
Cost Accountant Location Dubai
Lead effort in reviewing, refining, and maintaining costing system; including maintaining integrity of cost accounting system and updating standard rates. Identify and drive cost savings opportunities in product line and customer profitability.
Provide direction, input, and growth plans for staff of one; ensuring staff is focused on process improvements. Become the primary finance “go to person” for the Operations Team. Work with the Operations Director to develop the annual manufacturing budget and forecast updates. Analyze variances to budget/forecast, graphically depict trends, and present findings at Operation’s departmental meetings. Summarize and use financial performance data to provide useable feedback and clearly communicate results. Interpret data and findings; draw conclusions; prepare recommendations; and present to senior management. Support month-end close; prepare financial reporting as required. Oversee the reconciliation of annual physical inventories and cycle count program. Lead working capital initiatives around inventory management.
Ensure soundness of analysis on capital expenditure requests; challenge assumptions; ensure compliance. Review and approve the P&L impact of Lean Sigma and/or Continuous Improvement initiatives. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
