Domestic helpers usually charge around 20AED per hour if you take a part time helper from an agency. You can sponsor your own housemaid once you have a residency visa and this will enable you to get a live-in helper. You will then pay your helper a monthly salary plus accomodation in return for a full time domestic helper. This is very useful for families with young children as many of the female domestic helpers have experience with looking after children.

Some properties in Dubai have a maid’s room so you can get a live-in maid. Some people advertise in supermarket notice boards for available positions or available workers. Alternatively you can hire a part-time maid from one of the agencies in Dubai
